Think about your film future and apply for Campus Motovun Workshop.

Campus Motovun is a “light-type” summer workshop for film professionals, semi-professionals, students and all those who want to learn more! There will be one or two lectures daily in the period from July 25 – 29, covering the future-oriented subjects usually not taught in regular film schools. Our lecturers are acclaimed filmmakers. Daily round tables called the Debate Club will be organized where all the theory lovers will be able to discuss the most interesting and innovative films from the festival program. The debates will be moderated by leading Croatian film critics. A detailed list of lectures and lecturers will be available soon.

The participants are entitled to

– Free accommodation at the festival campsite

– Free accreditation for all festival programs and screenings

– Presentations of Croatian and international film schools and their films – you can submit your film and present your film school!

– If you prefer private accommodation, our Hospitality Office can help you find it (prices range from EUR 30.00-50.00 per night).

– The festival bus leaves for Motovun from Zagreb a day before the festival (24 July) and returns to Zagreb a day after the festival (30 July). You can take it for a very affordable price.

Eligible applicants:

– Students of Croatian and international film schools

– Students of other schools that also offer film courses

– Young film theoreticians and film critics

How to apply:

– Send your CV and a short motivation letter explaining your reasons for participation in the workshop (up to 300 characters with spaces) on the following e-mail address: studenti@motovunfilmfestival.com

– As a limited number of persons can apply, hurry up with your applications! The selected applicants will be notified not later than by 1 July.

In addition to all the activities offered, our major goal is to bring together young future filmmakers and film critics. Enjoy the festival together with other members of our international film lovers’ tribe!

AND FINALLY, IF YOU ARE YET TO BECOME A FILM STUDENT, if you are studying at some other faculty/college or if you do not want to attend any workshop, we have a solution for you, too: you can apply for student accreditation by 20 July. For a price of HRK 100.00, you will have access to all the programs of the 20th Motovun Film Festival.
