The exhibition Motovun: 25 Years in a Flash marking the end of an era of the Motovun Film Festival, after Lauba in Zagreb, on Saturday arrived at Motovun’s Five Towers Gallery. Numerous guests, collaborators and friends of the festival studied the 250 photographs with curiosity and nostalgia, absorbing the impressive scenes, famous faces, and emotional moments.
“We chose not only the photos with aesthetical merit, but also the ones that tell a story. Trying to figure out how to set up and display these vastly different photos together, I realised that, when you look at them more closely, you can see that everyone is laughing. And nobody ever told them to say cheese”, said festival Director Igor Mirković.
The exhibition remains open until Monday, 24 July.
