The 11-year-old Alfons would give anything to be a great athlete, a super student, and an astronaut. Alas, the reality is different. While he experiences one mishap after another, his unfair teachers, vicious classmates and very strict father seem to have all ganged up to make his life miserable. When he learns about an aircraft-building competition, Alfons decides to use the opportunity. He goes to an astronaut camp to show them all what a brilliant inventor he is.
