Seventeen-year-old Ola is has a steel will and wants one thing only – to pass her driver’s test and get hold of a car. While she helps her mother in caring about her invalid brother, her always absent and now estranged father works on a construction site in Ireland. When he suddenly dies, Ola must go to Ireland to return his body to Poland. But what interests her more than this thankless task is the money for a car that her father promised her for her eighteenth birthday. If only she could pass this bloody driver’s test. When she arrives in Ireland, her mission becomes complicated, but she finally gets a chance to get to know her deceased father. 

Piotr Domalewski (1983) is a film director, screenwriter, and actor. His debut feature, Silent Night (2017), won the Grand Prix in Gdynia, as well as Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay and the Discovery of the Year Award at the 2018 Polish Film Awards. Piotr is also a writer for theatre. His play Five Square Meters won the Audience Award at the Polish competition for playwrights Metaphors of Reality.
