Every day, a father and his son parachute from their vertiginous cliffside cold house to go to the village, where they sell the ice they produce. In his work, João Gonzalez combines his musical background with animation. His shorts Nestor and The Voyager were screened at 130 festivals. Ice Merchants premiered in Critic’s Week at Cannes in 2022.
