Ruby is turning six and her life is in balance. Her parents love her and her big brother Mark protects her. But Mark has to go back to school. He makes a new companion – a rag doll for his sister, so that Ruby doesn’t feel lonely. The doll’s name is Raggie. When Raggie comes to life, the relationship between brother and sister changes substantially. Feeling guilty, Raggie decides to split.
Meelis Arulepp is an animator, illustrator, and caricaturist. He is a co-founder of A Film Estonia studio. He has worked on numerous feature films, shorts, and commercials as directing animator, designer, storyboarder or supervisor. Karsten Kiilerich has worked as an animator, director, concept-developer and creative producer. He has won a large number of international film prizes and was nominated for an Oscar in 1999 with his animated short When Life Departs.
