A love story of broken memories triggered by a song. Bruno lives in the same nursing home as Duša, the woman he loves. His love for her is still strong but his memory is frail. Every time they part, Bruno’s memories of her part with her. When they meet again, it is as if they meet for the first time. When he is alone, his past comes gushing in and makes him want to run away to his home and his former life. But that life is no more. His special relationship with Duša rests on a memory that they share – the song Non ho l’età by Gigliola Cinquetti. This latest film by Miroslav Mandić (Adria Blues) is the filmmaker’s nostalgic homage to his father. Darko Rundek wrote the original score.
Miroslav Mandić (1955) was born in Sarajevo and graduated from the Columbia University in New York. Currently, he lives and works in Slovenia.
