Thirty-seven-year-old Tereza has been married to Marko, a seaman, for 10 years. She has just had her fourth miscarriage. Pressured by the people around her and by her family – including her younger sister who already has three kids – Tereza starts questioning her life, marriage and other relationships and finally decides to turn over a new leaf. While she gets to know new men, we get to know a new Tereza, somewhat arrogant and selfish. Her actions are about to trigger a series of consequences that will change her life – perhaps not for the best, but surely in the spirit of the newly acquired freedom. 

Danilo Šerbedžija (1971) graduated in philosophy and Greek language from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb and completed his post-graduate studies at the School of Film at Ohio University. He has directed documentary and short films, including Walnut segment of Zagreb Stories Vol. 3 composite film (2015), 72 Days (2010) and The Liberation of Skopje (2016 – co-directed with his father Rade Šerbedžija).
