The Kvarner Wines Association, whose members are bearers of the Kvarner Tourist Board brand, will present their offer at the Cinehill festival today (Thursday) at 7:30 PM at the Petehovac Viewpoint.
With the support of the Kvarner Tourist Board, the association has prepared an educational talk and wine tasting session titled “Wine and Film – Autochthonous varieties of Kvarner and Cinehill Festival love each other in public”. During this event, nine wines made from indigenous grape varieties of Kvarner – Žlahtina, Sansigot, Jarbola, and Belica blends – will be presented. The educational talk and wine tasting will be conducted by sommelier Doc. Dr. Sc. Ines Matić Matešković and the association’s director Doc. Dr. Sc. Žarko Stilin.
The presented wines and wineries are:
- OPG Ružić from Zvoneća with their sparkling wine “Ružić od jarbole”
- Gospoja from Vrbnik with their sparkling wine “Extra brut Gospoja od žlahtine” (Decanter – BRONZE)
- Plovanić vina from Kastav with their blend “kupaža belica” (verdić, divjaka, jarbola, mejsko, brajkovac)
- PZ Vrbnik from Vrbnik with their “Zlatna Vrbnička žlahtina” (Vinistra – GOLD, International Wine Award – GOLD, Decanter – BRONZE)
- Kuća vina Ivan Katunar from Vrbnik with their “žlahtina Ivan Katunar”
- Katunar Estate Winery from Vrbnik with their “žlahtina Sveta Lucija” (Concourse Mondial de Bruxelles – GOLD, Vinistra – BRONZE)
- Vinska kuća Pavlomir from Novi Vinodolski with their rosé wine “Ružica Vinodola” (Concourse Mondial de Bruxelles – GOLD)
- Vinarija Šipun from Vrbnik with their sansigot
- “Vinarija Nada from Vrbnik with their blend Otoczaz
