Zagreb, July 15, 2011 – In cooperation with Croatian-American company ShoutEm, Motovun Film Festival now has an iOS and Android application, which you can only find in Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Rome, London and Edinburgh, among European film festivals.
Alongside the film and music program, this year 14th Motovun Film Festival has many new technological innovations. For the first time in the region, you can buy tickets at POS terminals, in all 350 iNovina kiosks in Croatia, and from today we have a smart phone application as well!
Whether you are visiting for the first time, or you already feel ‘like home’, festival smartphone application will be your best guide through eventful Motovun days and sleepless nights.
Application enables you to access all info about what's on, giving its users real time information about any possible changes in schedule.
The audience will have more time for watching films, commenting, socializing and having fun, on the festival network and outside of it.
– screening schedule – be among the first to find out who, what and why, when and where you should not miss, even if the program changes.
– a map of festival locations – during the festival Motovun has a surprise for you at each corner! Don't waste time and use our festival map to arrive at the desired location as quickly as possible, learning everything you didn't know about Motovun on the go!
– video – trailers of all festival films, daily video news, Motovun chronicles, interviews with guests, and everything else festival cameras catch
– network – meet other audience members, hang out with the ones you already know, arrange meeting for screenings, comment films and parties, exchange photos… create your own Motovun
Application for Android is free and already available at Android Market https://market.android.com/search?q=motovun&so=1&c=apps , and iPhone version will be available before the festival begins.
