Mountain of films is becoming Mountain of Resistance.

The documentary film that received the most media coverage this year was Right, Two, Three – Where Is Europe Going. Its director, Christopher Bobyn, is visiting Motovun and Croatia for the first time. The film was aired by TV Arte: tackling the rise of the far right in four European countries, it dedicates most of its time to Croatia. In Motovun, the film will for the first time be shown in its entirety. Now that his perception of Croatia – from the nationalist festival in Čavoglave to the interviews with members of one of Croatia's far-right parties – has triggered a storm in media, we will have an opportunity to hear the author's experience firsthand. (nešto nije jasno; prvo se kaže da tip prvi put dolazi u Hrvatsku, a ovdje kaže da je snimao film po cijeloj zemlji i da će nam pričati o iskustvima)

The program the film is part of is Where Were You in 2016?. Answering to the question, philosopher and publicist Srećko Horvat says: After having founded DiEM25 movement with Yanis Varoufakis, I traveled across Europe getting a close look at all the turbulent events. Horvat will talk about his experience in his Motovun lecture entitled The Beginners' Guide to Disintegration of Europe.

Motovun Film Hill will thus be turning into a "hill of resistance", leaving its specific mark in the year that will certainly end up in history textbooks because of the grim atmosphere of escalating nationalism, violence, clericalism and intolerance spreading around Europe.

The program includes the appearance of Boris DežulovićandPredrag Lucić,who will perform their uproarious show; the students who spent days camping in front of the Ministry of Education protesting because they had not received their scholarships will perform funny and provocative street shows; Are You Syriousassociation will invite you to join them in helping the refugees who are currently in our country.

In cooperation with Arterarij association, we will read the books by Haruki Murakami, Marguerite Durasand other great writers whose texts have been denounced by Croatian conservative organizations as full of pedophilia, vampirism, cannibalism and perversions and, as such, not suitable for the curriculum.

Crowning the series of events will be the big arm wrestling tournament called Arm wrestiling: in search for the strongest Croatian RightSo, if one day your kids ask you where you were in 2016, make sure your answer is: at Motovun Film Festival.

See you on the hill of resistance! (samo prethodno provjeri s Igorom je li prihvaćena ova moja engleska verzija naslova turnira)
