Inspired by the themes of dystopia and SF, but also by current world events, they conceived the poster as a kind of homage to cyber noir aesthetics popularized by films such as Blade Runner, Alphaville, Terminator and the like. The poster shows a man on top of a hill triumphantly releasing a flying dragon – the trademark of Motovun FF, while the light of the festival projector behind him announces and opens a “new” world.
“Compared to last year’s visual, we approached the identity of this new edition of the festival differently. The new visual is aesthetically determined by strong colors and a clear film reference, while the content and tone of communication touch on socially current issues of cultural survival, as well as the conquest of new unexplored areas “, reveal Klasja Habjan and Zita Nakić.
“Culture related design always makes us happy, especially when it comes to a team that has been approaching the festival with special enthusiasm for years, all its sunny and rainy moments,” the designers point out.
