We bid farewell to the last day in Petehovac with a rich program of events, and we ensure a refreshing morning with morning yoga at Snow-sledding Slope at 10 o’clock. Stretch your joints and muscles while enjoying the beautiful view under the guidance of dance artist Koraljka Begović.

Film enthusiasts can catch the film Scrapper by director Charlotte Regan at Francis Ford Kupola Cinema at 10 o’clock. The film received the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance and follows twelve-year-old Georgie, who, after her mother’s death, lives alone in an apartment in the suburbs of London, navigating life in various ways. Her world changes with the appearance of Jason, who claims to be her father, and she wonders why he is suddenly interested in her.

Kampus DHFR continues its program of screening short student films at Lovačka kuća in Delnice at 11 o’clock. Today, films from the Academy of Fine Arts in Split and the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film, and Television will be shown.

At 11 o’clock in Devil’s Garden, there will be a workshop called One Flew Over the Eagle’s Nest: Dwellers of the Sky. In a conversation with Teo and Marija find out what the association BiOM does and why it’s devoted to studying birds. We talk about the last surviving scavenger birds in Croatia and what they eat, where Croatian albatrosses live and why they are endangered.

For the last walking tour, we have prepared a true adventure, and we invite you to gather at the Snow-sledding Slope at 11:30 a.m. for the walking tour with lynxes and bugs, which we are repeating due to high interest.

At 12 o’clock in Francis Ford Kupola Cinema, we have a film for children and youth, Dancing Queen by Norwegian director Aurora Gossé. Twelve-year-old Mina may not know how to dance and lacks self-confidence, but despite that, she decides to audition for a dance group. The film had its premiere at the Berlinale.

As always, a relaxing mountain coffee awaits you at CineChill at 12:30 p.m. Robert Zuber, director of the Rab Film Festival, will introduce today’s festival guests during the coffee and conversation.

If you participated in Haircuts for the Bravehearts yesterday, we invite you to show off your new hairstyle at Francis Ford Kupola Cinema at 2 p.m., where the quirky hairdresser-detective whodunnit Medusa Deluxe will be screened, a film that inspired this fun challenge. In this glamorous hairdressing competition, a whirlwind of low blows, blind ambitions, and envy intertwines, but the social dynamics change with the sudden death of one competitor. The film premiered at the Locarno Film Festival.

Some of the funniest situations happen behind the camera. You can find out about the biggest mishaps on Croatian film sets at Devil’s Garden at 3 p.m. during the event A Fucked-Up Afternoon, where filmmakers will share true stories of situations when everything went wrong on set and it seemed like the shooting was on the brink of failure.

The last film by the recently deceased Croatian director Lukas Nola, Escort, will be screened at Francis Ford Kupola Cinema at 4 p.m. Happily married father of two children, Miro, spends a night with a prostitute for the first time in his life. When he finds her dead in the bathroom, two employees help him cover it up, and they start using the event to their advantage.

At 5 p.m., CineChill will host Milan Majerović-Stilinović, presenting his book My Bear’s Heart – a love letter to the magical nature of Gorski Kotar). Learn more about the fascinating mountain saga inspired by the daily life of this place that features front and centre in the book.

The new film by the leading figure of Italian arthouse cinema, Alice Rohrwacher, La Chimera, will be screened at Francis Ford Kupola Cinema at 6 p.m. Everyone has their own chimera, something they persistently seek but cannot obtain. For Arthur (Josh O’Connor – The Crown), it appears as his lost wife, Beniamina (Isabella Rossellini). In contrast, a group of thieves of ancient Etruscan tombs seeks a chimera in the form of dreams of easy wealth. The destinies of the characters intertwine in Tuscany in the 1980s in a magical-realistic journey between the living and the dead. The film was screened at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

We will toast with a view for the last time from Vidikovac at 7:30 p.m. If you haven’t already, treat yourself to a tasting of the finest mountain brandies and wines on the most beautiful viewpoint in Petehovac on the last day of the festival. After the final toast, join us for the bonfire lighting at Krešo Golik Square at 8:30 p.m.

We will screen the first Czech science fiction film in 40 years, Restore Point, at Snow-sledding Slope at 9 p.m. In the Free European Federation in the year 2041, a new law has been passed that guarantees citizens “one full life” – the right to a new life in case of unnatural death. Ambitious detective Emma Trochinowska must solve the murder of a married couple, but the recovery team has only managed to revive one of them.

At 9:30 p.m. in Francis Ford Kupola Cinema, The Night of the Winners begins – the award ceremony and screening of the award-winning film.

We will say farewell to Cinehill with a concert by Skupljači perja on Krešo Golik Square at 11:30 p.m., where these seven seasoned jazz musicians will lift the atmosphere with their covers of Šaban Bajramović’s songs. After Skupljači perja, Krešo golik Square will host DJ Karla Dokić at 1.30 a.m. She will keep us entertained until early morning.
