Martin is a fisherman without a boat, displaced from his family house to an estate above the picturesque harbor. His brother had converted their family boat and house to attract day-trippers from London. Martin’s refusal to accept the inevitable changes creates growing friction with the local community and tourists. Bait is a harsh story about the life and culture of small communities and the ways they cope with the modern world.
