Late 1990s. A farm burnt down in the woodlands of Sardinia. Its manager Mario, the son of the farm owner Constantin (acclaimed Italian filmmaker Gavino Ledda – Padre Padrone), is the only casualty. Dressed as a shepherd, the devastated Constantin briefs the detectives about the events preceding the incident. It all started with Mario returning from Berlin with his wife Greta (Anna König – TV series Dark). The two of them decide to turn the farm into a tourist attraction offering authentic experience with Sardinian shepherds. This detective story is an adaptation of the eponymous novel by Giulio Angioni. The film won a special mention of the Federation of Italian Cinema Clubs at Venice Film festival.
